Its cuz the dude just seemed so sincere. If you read the comments on that post everyone is like:

"I hate fizz, but I cant hate you. Hope you get to play with the creator of evil"

It's the perfect plan, make the people that created Fizz have to play against him.

Just like having a good too bad they usually show up on the enemy team.
