yeah but with ap malzahar you do all the same stuff and your aa to turrets do stuff now that they buffed mage aa on turrets

4. AP champs are nigh unplayable this preseason.

In any case, Malzahar's W still does decent damage even without any AP at all. It's % max health damage, which is always relevant. He also happens to have one of the longest silences in the game, and that's not even getting into his ult.

But - But - What about AD Malz Jungle!
