Xayah isn't just edgy though, she's every annoying edgy emo goth teenager rolled into one character and cranked up to 11. Being edgy is one thing, saying things like "Talking to people makes me want to stab them... so I do." (actual Xayah quote) is just dumb and cringe inducing.

Yeah, I feel Riot missed the mark with her ridiculous quotes and "edgy" attitude.

To me, listening to Xayah is worse than constantly being killed by the enemy and having their Lux spam laugh, Nunu dance on your corpse, and the 2/13 Yasuo constantly flashing mastery.

I find her that annoying.

Also, Xayah + Rakan "lover" voice lines are so cringe and awkward that I refuse to play them together, and whenever encountering them in the enemy team I just have to set Voice volume to 0. I bet whoever designed those has never been in a real relationship.

I mean, they could still be in the "Puppy dog" phase where they can't help performing PDA.

Xayah doesn't really talk THAT much from my experiences, then again I've never played with a Rakan because I prefer playing top lane so there's that. I will say one thing, she doesn't seem super EDGY to me, she just seems creepy af. "Spiders are my spirit animal" Like wtf. and "If love is feeling so deeply for another that you want to chew your way under their skin, then I love Rakan... " Really Xayah?
