actually, im think you can fill the bar up with blue energy, as long as the ones that finish it are red. Not sure, i need to test it.

I can confirm. I don't know if there is a way to tell who is winning but the bar fills no matter who you damage and you get the form for which you gathered more "essence".

ACtually i tested it. 90%+ of the bar i filled with blue in the practice tool, then filled the final bit with red, and still got red form. Im still not sure though.

You tested it wrong then. You always only see the winning bar but there is actually the bar for the losing form that you can't see.

I tried it by killing Ashe 3 times (almost filled the bar to full) then attacked the training dummies for a bit and the bar didn't change.

what i dont get is why you cant lower the timer by collecting the energy. Say you unlock blue by accident, you then have to wait 5 minutes for red form, no matter what. (as far as im aware) collecting energy should subtract time from that

That's actually a decently fair idea, though it shouldn't be very effective. That way it still encourages the player to focus on the normal pick and choose style he currently favors.

I honestly hate the whole gimmick with the 2 energies. I think it would be better with just one energy that unlocks both.

I tested it today and I'm a bit confused.

I spent enough time hitting the dummy to get more than half of the bar (like 66%) of red essences and then proceeded to kill my ranged enemy for 3-4 times and I accelerated the match a bit because I wanted to let it farm enough to give me more blue essences per kill. I finished the bar and the form I unlocked was the blue one.

Does time passed form collecting X essence also matters?

I think we need a clearer meter about who are we going to unlock seeing that there is a lot to wait for the other form.

You're correct but there's basically an invisible point counter, you can be whacking red all game then finish it on ranged champs and it'll prioritize Rhaast.

Really wish there was a meter/point counter but apparently we don't deserve that info lol
