Also, the point would definitely not be that women are not a property. In a couple that's really in love, each of the two is property of the other. The point would be that if you assume that YOUR girl (yes, as a property, just like you are her property) can be "stolen", it means you assume she actually has no real emotional connection to you - so why the fuck are you in a couple with her in the first place. The issue with these joke is not misogyny - it is missing affection amangst one's values.
