Worst case scenario: When your best friend decided to ditch LoL for Overwatch

Overwatch is shit and overhyped.

1. I don't have Overwatch. He's my best friend, I won't be able to play with him.

Let him go. Respect his decision, and wait patiently for him to return to LOL. You can quit if you want, but you'll never truly leave.

He will probably come back to lol after a while.

Main one for me would be that at least the LOL playerbase knows that it's salty, the Overwatch playerbase seems to be convinced that it isn't even though it's just as bad if not worse in my (admittedly brief) experience :P Don't mention porn though. They sadly have the edge over us with that.

My best lol friend did leave and go to overwatch. I had no reasons for him not to do so.

So, Overwatch is a nice game, i don' t own it but i tried it many times for how much that might matter. But as i see it:

1. Overwatch games are much quicker than LoL, so you get tired of it also quicker. It happens also less stuff on them, and much quicker, so it is ever easier to burnout if played without care or restriction. Which leaves you with plenty of time.
2. it' s an FPS, skill doe snot transfer very much between a MOBA and a FPS
3. Party chat is either dead or full of insults. I mean sometimes you want to set fire to the lol chat too, but some nice gems can happen there and it' s useful for strategy while OW has much less space for strategy talk ( or read for the matter) and the right amount of time to flame.
4. You won' t get as much content update, let it be skins or characters. Current rooster is also low.
5. No one respects the support. Like, really.

Overwatch only has a fraction of the depth of League and Blizzard's balancing choices make Riot look outstanding by comparison, worsened by the fact that you cannot ban in Overwatch

TF2 is better in everyway (except graphically) and its free.

World of Warcraft was the first MMORPG ever. All MMORPG's cloned it. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Overwatch has Zenyatta and Ana, I'd probably encourage them to play it more than anything just because of those two.

"best friend"? I'd need to have friends first to have one of those.
