When you use RP Boost in ARAM and nobody picks a skin.

That happened to me once. I was messing with my masteries at the last second and completely missed it. So sad.

I feel you dude.

If I get countered in champ select, sometimes I pick the classic skin to avoid making the skin look bad.

But we should honestly pick skins because we want to look nice while playing, and if people automatically assume that we're gods just because we have skins, well there's no helping that.

We're talking ARAM not SR. If you don't like to pick a skin in SR for this reason then it's totally fine. In ARAM though i would still take advantage of it. It's just 1 game after all. :P
