But Challengers can make it to LCS... and LCS players can make it to Worlds... And World's players can become World champs...What if Faker is the only person truly in Elo Hell? http://gifsec.com/wp-content/uploads/GIF/2015/05/Terrible-Realization.gif?gs=a
You don't get elo for that, you get cash :3
What is cash but nature's elo? http://lovelace-media.imgix.net/uploads/186/6e7fb1b0-2f40-0132-095c-0eae5eefacd9.gif?
I like your way of putting it, have an upvote sir Laughing Fish!.
This made me laugh pretty damn hard +1
That moment when a memer becomes the next great philosopher
I have a dream memesophy will one day have its place in Modern Day Philosophy chapter in books about phiolosphy history alongside older materialism and pragmatism.
But more ELO makes your games harder, and cash makes life (and getting more cash) easier.
mo money mo problems begs to differ

Is there such a thing as Korean elo hell?
Yes, it is called "LoL Champions Korea" (professional league). But it is the reverse of NA elo hell, as there is only room for so many people at the top. Even if everyone is amazing, every game will still have a loser, and thus there will still be people pushed down to lower ranks.
There are no losers in Korea...
If everyone is pro, noone is
So many philosophers on this post.
So bronze Koreans are people just outside of challenger but they missed that 1 cs?
actually the bronze rank in korean server its NA/EU pros that try to climb the korean ladder
So what the hell is Cowsep?
Faker's sub would be the only one in true elo hell. When you're stuck playing solo que bc you're a world class player on a team of world class players so you aren't starting.
So basically Easyhoon and, until recently, Scout were in elo hell? x)

Rather Unnatural indeed.

i cant unsee it help
GOD why does it bend that way!?

elo hell deosnt exist.... im not stuck in silver cause my teamates sucks (they do) but so do i, if i was good enough to climb, i would climb, as simple as that, and its like that for everyone.....
Unless you're a support main. :P
Not really. I climbed from bronze 4 to silver 3 in about a month, and most of my losses were playing with my friends who are in bronze. I think maybe 4 of those games were something other than support. I don't feel like playing support was holding me back at all.
teammates are holding me back tho.. I main supp, really depending on adc. but even if we win botlane and top/mid gets fed af, chances of winning are still low. not saying that I'm pro, but I notice that people in bronze are really holding me back.
And who's on the enemy team if not bronze players?
Then you're lucky af
Well I have a support main friend who started to play ranked immediately after he got level 30. He got placed in b2 and now he is s5 (40 games later). So it's definitely possible to climb it of bronze as support main.

This is an opinion held by only those who dont understand math and probability distributions. ELO hell must exist for SOME players, it is a statistical fact.
You must not know what a fact means then. ELO Hell does not exist. That is a opinion or saying that it does exist is also a opinion. Your reasoning for it existing for some players is correct they cant climb because their "bad". Its not elo hell its the player so in since elo hell occurs with all players in all leagues because at one point they can no longer climb due to them not being at the skill level required to make it higher at that moment. So blaming elo hell for not rising is completely false and just a way for ignorant people to feel as if the reason they are not improving is not because they are too ignorant to see their mistakes and keep making them but that the game system is flawed and that they are stuck where they are without ever being able to get out. I climbed myself all the way from Bronze 4 to Silver 5 in about a week. But im not saying I am a good player but that I got to the division I deserved because I played the champs I could play and help carry and managed my way out of bronze. A not of advice. Try not to use hard carry such as squishy fighter tops or early game reliant mages mid. If you are going to play any role not including adc I suggest you use a tank champion that is more tactical than damage reliant so that his team can come together in team fights. I personally use Skarner because of his low play rate and a complicated champ to counter he is easy to use against the enemys team. All I do is wait out early telling my team just not to feed and when we make it to late I just run into the enemy team and ult whoever is carrying their team be it a fed mid laner or maybes a enemy adc. Once I ulted I drag them into my team and we quickly burst them down earning us the perfect chance to charge the enemy team and get a good push in. Simple but tactical and tanky champs like this work really well in low elo.

are all great champions for solo carrying games in bronze. They can take a beating but also dish out decent damage. Most importantly they can split push and create pressure to give your team an advantage elsewhere on the map.
I'd go for Nasus, farm safe end up with 500stacks tank build and destroy everything.
The statistical numbers of players is so small that it is inconsequential. not to mention it becomes increasingly unlikely that a player will keep being stuck. In a game of pseudo luck it is hard for the luck aspects to keep skill down.
A common reason I hear that someone is stuck in elo hell is that their teamates suck and their enemy team doesn't. They always get the afk and the enemy doesn't.
But your rule of probability, that means you should actually be winning. Your enemy team is more likely to obtain a troll or afk compared to you, unless you're the problem.
Elo hell doesn't exist. If the problem is that your champ can't climb, that's the only reason I can see (Aka you're a Naut main or something.)
Naut took me from bronze V to bronze 3, soooooooo
you can literally climb on any champ if you have enough practice with that champ
I chose Naut because I've seen plenty of people play him to a great level, yet still sit in the pit of B5.
You could, it's not impossible, but Naut isn't a carry champion that'll snowball out of control. It's more difficult. That was all I'm trying to say. If your Naut's having you climb, that's a very good sign. I hope you reach even higher than Bronze 3.
Haha thanks, Bronze 1 now, going to try to hit Silver when this friday comes around (only play ranked of fridays when i can binge it at night) , and support started boring me so i play the real face roll champion a lot now
, and my fun but still OP champ
if im first pick or the mid laner hasn't shown up in champ select yet
And yeah i understand where your coming from about how some champs are harder to climb with then others, but i have a friend who mechanically wise can play with the upper golds (he actually was for while) But it comes down to objective control, csing, and teamwork, he honestly isn't that good, more of a "Just feed me so i can carry, i don't care if the other lanes don't win as long as they don't feed" type of guy who goes on tilt pretty often when the game is going badly, thus he's in Bronze 3
So you can play a champ to a great level, but if your team work and various other things aren't good aswell your likely not going to climb very fast
You actually have it wrong. Assume equal chances of feeding nooblord per team slot. Except your own slot because we are trying to prove ELO hell, not that you suck and are the reason you can't climb.
This means there are 4 slots for feeders/trolls on your own team, and 5 for the enemy. By probability, a given individual who is not a feeder will thus be forced up in ranking over time by playing enough games, until he/she is now the weakest link on their teams.
ELO Hell does not exist, and mathematically cannot exist as a long term, permenant status. If someone thinks they are stuck in ELO hell, then they either are the weakest link, or they haven't played enough games.
The closest we can come to an ELO hell is an unlucky streak that will average out given enough games.
This is an opinion held by only those who dont understand math and probability distributions. ELO hell must exist for SOME players, it is a statistical fact.
Then I will counter your "fact" with the law of large numbers. "Elo hell" exists only temporarily. The more games you play, the closer you elo approaches (assuming you don't improve) your actual level.
elo hell deosnt exist.... im not stuck in silver cause my teamates sucks (they do) but so do i, if i was good enough to climb, i would climb, as simple as that, and its like that for everyone.....
Sometimes it's about what you're playing that holds you back. I had to find my niche champions to get out of Silver, but I was "stuck" in Silver all last season after climbing from Bronze.
same for me, but its mostly due to my poor farm and map pressure i think, not my picks
Well, there is no LP cap in challenger so, uh, no you can climb just fine.
