Both teams in a average normal match

I'm pretty sure I remember this in a news article, and if I remember correctly, you're pretty much spot-on. But they were playing FIFA 15 on a VR headset, I guess the Oculus.

So, I mean, they could kind of see what they were actually doing, but their spatial perception was totally wrecked. The notorious bugs present in the game were intact, as were the equally-notorious odd physics, and it's not like it was designed for it...So just being able to find the goal was a feat, hence the celebration.
