People think Champion X is OP -> People complain about Champion X being too strong -> Champion X gets nerfed back to balance -> People now start to ban champs they don't like to play against

People are afraid of trying things out since "if it's not played in LCS it clearly means that it doesn't work" which isn't always the case.
