When does Malph ever build it? I only ever see it on Rammus, Malph always goes AP bruiser and I never seen him take it over IBG or DMP.

He has two abilites that scale off of armor.

His W increases his armor by 30%.

There is a reason he is so strong right now, because if he goes against AD, he is strong as fuck. You usually never build him AP -- if you want to build him right -- you build him straight armor and HP. Sometimes you do not have that liberty doe if you are against a lot of mixed or magic damage.

I guess I see a lot of bad Malphites then, I always seem to see them get item 3027 and item 3001 then pure tank from there, which while they hurt a bit more, makes them vastly easier to kill, and god forbid the ult badly, now they are worthless.
