The two new champions seem to be similar to Quinn and valor. The bird themed female marksmen fighting for a cause(e.g Quinn serving demacia) who has a male bird themed male partner who fights to protect her (e.g valor saving Quinn and being by her side ever since). I'm just sad because it feel like my champ lost a part of her unquie identity in a lore sense :(

I no im agreeing with you 100% he just seems like a male quinn. And according to the leak hes an adc. Im really cautious about my excitement for these champs.

But surely she is not the only falconeer out there..... While i know she was unique in her own sense, nobody will be able to take that away. What im curious about is if its like Quinn's rival from Noxia, perhaps their bird is the one that injured Valor? Im not too familiar with the lore of Quinn and Valor except that she believes him to be the reincarnation of her brother. So some of my ideas could be shot down.

Perhaps the new champion IS her brother....... Who is not actually dead? Was reincarnated by necromancers seems too cliche atm...... But his will to survive because he could not let his sister down, only to find out that he has been replaced by a meer animal could madden and enrage a already weakened body and mind into extraordinary acts of rage and evil.

At the moment Quinn's updated lore has no mention of a rival(but that might change with the noxus update), In the new lore valor got injured trying to save Quinn. Also her brother is definitely dead in the new lore, he got killed by an animal and the buried him.

Perhaps the good of his soul went to make Valor, and the bad of his soul went to make a fiendish other bird/animal that then took control of a humans mind....... Idk, the possability is still there lol, just needs tweaked.

They are Vastaya from Ionia - human/animal hybrids, these two apparently with bird traits. They aren't from Noxus, and they don't have a bird - they are birds. Check out the new info in Universe.
