Most of the time when I get fast food, my fries are salted when I get them. But when I need to salt them myself, I go to Player Behavior because that board is filled to the brim with salt.

TBH the current report/banning system is pretty shit. You people who regularly bash it have literally 0 experience with it. I do. I have been a toxic player in the past and my account was flagged, and rightly so. However, I have taken measure to reform, and they have been wildly successful. However, I still get regular punishments. In fact, I am likely a single report away from a permaban. I have literally received a 2 week time ban, a 20 game chat restriction, and a 10 game ranked restriction SIMULTANEOUSLY for saying "gg afk" ONE TIME. And before you Riot sheep say "well you can't be banned for only a single offense", BULLSHIT. Riot linked me the offensive games, and this was the only one in the log. The fact is that if you manage to get your account flagged (ie your first offense) you are fucked. Even single games can ruin you, and even if you only occasionally rage (as literally everyone does, do NOT try to say that you are some kind of pure soul that never experiences anger and allows it to show) you WILL escalate your punishment. It's not about player reform anymore, it's about removing anyone that doesn't fit in with Riot's frankly dogmatic view of social interactions.

Only PB&M dudes will fully understand this.

To be fair, they do bury the cop-out that they can ban you both for any reason or without reason in a paragraph of text.

And that, of course, allows them to ban people for what, in 2017, is considered normal behavior for online games. The ESRB has known that people are going to be jerks online for decades, and have rightfully chosen to claim for every single rating that online interactions are not rated.

League has the strangest position as both the game with the most toxic community due to the fact there are so many players in one game and you can type either with or without hurting your own gameplay, and the game with a ban system that will punish players ruthlessly despite the much more enabling environment.

Unless its a popular streamer then they check on it and sometimes actually lift it even though "there is nothing we can do it is not a mistake" then they lift it

I feel so identified with that image, I swear these ranting threads are quite amusing.

Which is probably why they'll just continue doing what they're doing. Don't get me wrong, some people are off the handle and will never have anything valid to say.

But then there are others who have been chat restricted here and there, who have a lot of experience with Moba's and the type of communities around several ones that get treated that way.
