Ban him.

Even if someone on your team wants to play him just ban him out. You know he's gonna go 1/6 90% of the time anyway.

Might as well force the Yasuo onto something else that can assist the team.

Yas wins like 48% of his games. That's far below 90%. And even if he gets carried 50% of his wins that still leave 24% of games that he doesn't feed

Dawg, did I say that every Yas ever feeds? No.

But that stereotype is there nonetheless for a reason isn't it? ALL the negative stereotypes about Yas, Yas players and so on are there for a reason. So yeah... this guy hovering Yas might not be a complete asswipe. But what if I don't want to take that chance? What if our team is bad for Yasuo but he's hovering him anyways? What if the guy hovering Yas is last pick and you don't want the enemy to get him first? What if you just plain hate playing games with Yasuo on either team?

Is it a bit rude to ban someone's pick away from them? Yeah. Is it a valid thing to do? Yep. Game allows it just fine. So stop harassing people if they choose to do it. You are permitted to ban anyone for any reason.

the discussion was never about you not wanting him in the game (i still would opt to not be a dick to my teammates) you told me to point out why yas going 1-6 in 90% of games was obviously false. either read the discussion and contribute without randomly changing the paridimns of the conversation or stay out of it.

If I'm off-base and you don't play Yas... good for you. If I'm not and you do... get used to half the playerbase hating you man, I don't know what else to tell you. Being a Yas player basically immediately gives you the mark of Cain. How you haven't exhausted yourself to death flaming everyone on the boards that hates him is beyond me.

lol. I have maybe played like 5 yasuo games this year. feel free to check my match history. I am "touchy" because I am sick of people ruining other peoples games because they are filthy yasuo mains. I understand banning him cause you dont want to play against him. But banning a pick intent by a teammate is super shitty. If I were to ever do that I would simply dodge because I was the shitty human being in that situation.

Hey, you can think it's shitty all you want. It's not against the rules or the code of conduct to ban whomever you want. It risks tilting the player and making them troll, but that's about it. Camping a lane to tilt the enemy into a loss ruins someone's game. Cheese strats ruin someone's game. Merely picking Pantheon top ruins someone's game. The points of the game are to win and to have fun. If having Yasuo in the game ruins my fun, that's a valid enough reason to ban his ass.

Not that anyone should have to explain their bans, BTW. The whole point of the ban system is that now every player can pick ONE champ that they NEVER want to see and they are assured to NEVER see them. Why should we have to give that up because some dude wants to fifth pick Yasuo? I don't want to play with Yasuo. He can pick Yasuo next game... And if he's banned next game too, there's the next one... and if he's ALWAYS banned, maybe there's a reason people hate his filthy guts and you should just play someone that the community hates so much. Or just play blind pick, like all the other people who wanna ride the permaban shit.

Taken from my last game. People actually feel the urge of feeding him. It's something beyond my comprehension. But yeah, "ours feeds, theirs gets fed" is totally false.

I did. I can see why I seem like a jerk. It's my personal experience though. Literally 90% of all Yasuo's I see feed. Just today, I had a 4/14 Yasuo on my team and a 1/8 Yasuo on the enemy team. It's not just today, infact, it's pretty much every day.

Do I think every Yasuo sucks? Absolutely not, I think he's a ton of fun to play and I enjoyed playing him in ARAM. But I won't give Yasuo players the benefit of the doubt if 90% of them underperform in MY games. If Yasuo players don't perform so bad in your matches, then I think that's really good! The frustration I feel towards Yasuo isn't a pleasant one.

Do I think the champion is bad? By this point yes. I don't think that Yasuo players are intentionally feeding or trying to lose games. Quite the opposite, but something is wrong when most of them are bad.

Do I want people to play a champion that seems to always underperform? Not really.

No, Most of my bans are usually Zac/Zed/Syndra/Talon/Warwick

I have nothing against letting my team play a certain champion, and if they want to, I'm all for it. Apart from Yasuo, there are no champions that I will ban if an ally wants them.

As for Yasuo, it's literally because he just ends up feeding in most of my games. I keep giving him the benefit of the doubt and he keeps feeding, so I get frustrated and start banning him.

To be blunt, If I saw more Yasuo players do well on the champion, then I would have absolutely no reason to ban him. I think Yasuo is underpowered and people end up feeding when playing him. So I ban him in the hopes that they play something better.

It's not to spite people. It's not out of anger towards Yasuo mains, it's just because I feel like it increases my chances of winning not having a Yasuo on my team. The people that play him are often mechanically sound on other champions but those champions feel like they have more to offer other than Yasuo in his current state.
