Jeez, I thought Riot was better than this. How is Ryze going to live being starved of reworks? I thought we were going to have our biannual Ryze rework, but again Riot fails to do so. Literally unplayable.
They're currently busy making a new 1820RP Skin for Cho'Gath.

3,000 game Ryze OTP here. I'm actually ready for a rework. Lets be honest, my WEQ is fucking cancer. I really preffered my good ol' DBZ supercombo superryze. When you're always super, it's more like you're never super. (reffering to W and E always resetting Q these days).
I would take just about any rework gladly. Altho I gotta say I'm finally getting decent with this ult.
I'm one of the last people to tell you a champ needs a rework but I absolutely hate Ryze's current rework. What was wrong with the last one? I voted yes, but maybe what he really needs is a revert like Sejuani. Not saying his rework was anywhere near as bad as Sejuani's rework, but just that maybe he also needs a revert. I don't play him a whole lot so I don't have a lot of input on him. What I can tell you is that I don't enjoy playing as, with, or against him, and to me that is the ultimate failure of a champion, even if it is a biased opinion.
One change I could get on board with it to make his ultimate a regular active ability, it should have significantly shorter range but its duration decreases as the level increases. Perhaps even move it into some sort of ability that has a passive component like what we got going on with Varus. Whatever they do to him, I feel like it needs to be easier for his allies to get used to the unique feel they're trying to create with him, and I think a lower cooldown on what he has now being known as his ultimate would help with that. I also think champs in general should be easy to play if possible, especially if they are a low amount of BE required to purchase.
Can't they plan their 5th and 6th reworks in peace...
