Ahem.
The reason this happened is because Anakin and Obi-Wan were preparing angles of attack AND readjusting to the other's incomong strike.
They have fought side by side so often they know each other's moves by heart, so they are constantly adjusting and readjusting their angles of attack to actually do something on a strike. This combined with their Jedi reflexes and precognition causes this effect.

Between the original lore, the fanfiction that the EU became, and the current stuff- Star Wars just went all over the place.
And don't give me "precog". That stuff works as well as the plot wants it to and not a bit more or less than what it needs to in order to progress the story.
I do this in lane as yasuo to keep my stacks up and look for an opening for an E>Q.
I wish they gave him a counter on his dashes. Like he can store up to 4 dashes at a time or something. That way he still has his mobility but cant just spam it brainlessly. A dash with a 0.2 sec cool down with no resource is pretty dumb.
a recent star wars episode actually explained that light sabers attract each other like a magnet but have a mass depending upon the make of the crystal and its focused energy blade
so, the reason so many complex maneuvers are required is to create a hole in your opponents defense because it is almost impossible not to block when in the proper position
ya but it makes people really confused and annoyed that they cant hit their skill shots

Also, this perfectly explains my first few times playing Yasuo where yeah, I screwed up pretty badly.
