I tried to play Starcraft 2... But the final Tutorial kept kicking my ass... Pathetic right?! [slayer-jinx-unamused]
Its too fast paced for me. I'll just usually stick to my TBS games when I can.
I wanted to steer....
Basically.
Except in starcraft if you have a team mate you are likely to be attacked by his/her harvesters and have your base destroyed before you can do anything, just so he/she can have your resources.
I loved it when they would try to do that to me and I would flip around and kill all their harvesters.
I used to play Starcraft II and reached Gold but even at Gold your APM had to be ridiculously high.
That game is the fastest way to get carpal tunnel, much faster than any other game including league.
The thing is: in single player what you do reflects entirely on the match while in this kind of multiplayer you can do whatever you want but if 4 other ppl don't keep your step you might aswell go buy some coconuts and smash them together.
This also means that you are more instigated to behave good in single player becuase you have to focus on yourself and the enemy, not praying the gods of RNG not to be in a 1vs9 match.
SC2 is actually pretty easy compared to SC1 and broodwar. Think you need high APM for SC2? You needed absurd APM for the first 2 games.
I managed to get to diamond on SC2 the first two seasons with a track pad. Yes, a track pad on a laptop, not a mouse.
Thats funny and true! :D
Ah yes, back in the days of WoL when I first heard of LoL and this meme first appeared
Well Starcraft Team Ladder wasn't that diffrent from dynamic Queue. I never got out of bronze in solo play but got into masters while playing duo with a friend.
4 word WING Of Liberty BRUTAL: That shit will shit on you all day
I was Platinum 3 in Starcraft 2. I've reached silver 2 in league and then gave up. This meme too tru D:
i can see more fun in one meme than the other one lol
starcraft destroyed me cuz all the micro managements, i like macro strategy games better.
