What's black and blue, and is about to show you the definition of pain?

I've never understood how anyone saw the dress as white and gold. I can see misinterpreting the black parts as a dark gold due to the lighting, but the blue parts are, well, very clearly and obviously blue. No matter how I look at it, what colors I focus on, it's blue and black or blue and gold. Never white.

I could only see white and gold.

Then I started blocking out the light around it with my fingers, and could see black and blue.

Then I unblocked, and it still looked black and blue.

Then I couldn't see it as white and gold.

Then I switched pages back and forth and it was white and gold again.

Now it blurs back and forth as I look up and down it.

I don't like the dress anymore.

I forgot which one was right. I've always seen it black and blue.

No matter how I look at it, it's blue and black. Doesn't matter which colors I focus on.

The definition of pain? Hardly.

The dress may be black and blue, but it isn't in the picture due to the camera's gamma correction.

When I see that dress, I see thousands of angry middle schoolers on Facebook arguing what the color of the dress is.
