Im pretty sure riot's been trying to secretly implement a different and worse ranked system, for most of the season me and my friends were in high gold/low plat carrying most of the time, in quite literally a week all of us dropped below silver because lp gain to loss ratio went from +24 -13 to +7 -53 for no reason, none of us were doing bad and our mmr was high, suddenly silver. I think they're trying to make it harder to climb the ranks to make getting end of season rewards more scarce, which is sad because the worst players in the game are currently afked in gold league. Serioulsy, most golds are worse than most bronzes.

I get more lp for wins than i lose for losses. You need to have more wins in ranked than losses. I lose 15 but gain 27.

Whenever I go on a winning streak from the red (or purple as many people still prefer) side, I usually fear for the blue side.

Blue side is my worst nightmare, even though it's has more advantage, they reward less and punish you more if you lose. (15-20 for wins) Red side is my friend, rewarding and less punishing. (20-25 for wins)

It's the blue side that ruins my winning streak and makes me lose too much LP.

Its hella sad :,( The struggle is real.. I got out of bronze w/ ease only to find that i know gain 19 lp on win and lose 26 on loss. Can't get out of S5 TnT

If you're losing more LP than you're gaining, your MMR is below average for your ranking. Keep on winning more than you lose and that should turn around soon enough!
