It is a pet peeve of mine when your, you're, then, than, their, there, they're, etc are used incorrectly. But I have stopped correcting all but those closest to me. If they didn't want to learn in grade school, they don't want to learn now. Let them be.

You actually said American's in general, you did not specify that you were talking about a single person. You left your statement as generalized as Americans, therefore it is open for interpretation. And I am not hating on Europeans, I am simply hating on one pretentious prick who likes making fun of Americans for typos. Realistic and logical is not making fun of people from a different country that is not your own. I'm one of the people that hates it when people quote 'na this' and 'eu that', it's pure bullsht, and i said i consider it stupid when americans make that mistake, i never said all americans make that mistake, don't go twisting words

And i'm one of the (totally not that many) europeans who hates the idea of calling bad plays NA plays and good ones EU ones, both europeans and americans make mistakes, but just think about your and you're, EVERYONE who's native language is english (unless you're dislectic) should know the difference between a possessive form and a quote about being something, i'm sorry but it just in the most STUPID mistake there is in the english language in my opinion, and that won't change
