How to better balance champions
I wasn't sure if this post would fit other categories so I decided to post here.
Riot is constantly trying to balance the game because one change down the line can affect everything. I can guarantee you this game can go through millions of patches and still won't be balanced just because of the sheer nature of the game.
Completely serious here, why don't they just make everyone overpowered as fuck? I know that sounds kinda silly, but hear me out.
If every one had kits like
and
and then multiply that by 1000, everyone would have counterplay against each other and balancing wouldn't be such a bitch.
The truth is that as new champs are released, their kits are more focused towards being fun to play. This leads to new champs having stuff in their kit that will give old champs a harder time and ultimately it's extremely hard to balance around this. If all the champs were OP as fuck, everyone would be viable and no one would be left out. This ALSO means all champs can make LC$ big plays. If all champs were mobile, overpowered, fun to play, full of counterplay, LC$ plays, what would be the harm in that?
If it works for Dota 2, why can't it work for LoL?
