You do know my ult has a 2 minute cooldown? As in I can't use it every time you get grabbed, which is every 20 seconds.
I had a moment in Halo once where I was in a warthog full of the AI marines, I get out for 10 seconds to take out a sniper tower and when I get back the warthog is on fire and everyone is dead. I've had similar experiences supporting in league.
You forgot getting flamed at, even though when they come back to lane the wards you just put up stop 2 mid roams and a jungler gank.
It also has to do with the fact that your adc feels that the other team is stupider than they really are. Its a big weakness to uderestimate an enemy. They are obviously going to strike you during this vulnerability if you let them.

Every time a friend decides to be my adc.
Him, "Where where you?" in an angry voice. Me, " Placing wards and clearing them. Can you not get caught out while I'm working on vision control?" (typically river, drag, and blue side tri bush or the bot side buff)
He also gets mad at me for not baby sitting him the entire game. He got Q'd, silenced, and R'd by a Cho'gath many times in time fights, the support I was playing that game couldn't stop any of it. So it's my fault he gets caught.

Half way down the river bot looks fine on the minimap. Sit in Bush for a sec. Bot still looks fine but the enemy bot is back to lane. Tell them "care" . Pull off successful gank. Look at minimap. WHY THE FUCK IS HE SO CLOSE?!? [An Ally Has Been Slain]
I once had an Ashe adc in ranked. And this was before her rework. So I'm like "Ugh...a Ashe" in my head. We walk into lane. She's trying to cs and she gets grabbed. I heal her as much as I could. She then got grabbed under turret. The Blitzcrank was obviously fishing. I got blamed cause I wasn't body blocking the hooks. We all know: when your support gets hooked and their up goes near 0. No on freaking comes to heal them...but when an adc gets pulled we gotta lift the world up for them....not even a damn "thanks"

Well to be fair supports tend to have massive movespeed advantage and hooks are toxic 1 shot kill spells that need to be deleted from this game (except 
because it's the least 1shot kill hook around)

Nevermind the fact they pushed the lane to their turret 1 vs 2 with no vision or anything cuz you know....im supposed to always have wards without ever going to the base. Such a bad support. lol
I don't play bot lane often, but here are my somewhat common and always annoying experiences:
As Leona support: my carry won't walk up to the minion line even when the enemy is gone, I countergank mid for a double kill, ward up while coming back, engage on the ADC (Meanwhile their support is mid because he's trying to apply pressure where I do and is a step behind), the jungle and mid lane are still dead and top is still top, and my ADC runs away. I die trying to run after CCing him for 3.5 second and almost half chunking him, then once I'm dead and their support is back my ADC decides it's time for himself to soloengage.
As Sona support/any heal support: After AnAllyHasBeenSlain 
"Report support not healing". "As if I could heal you through about 10000 damage after you got yourself caught. I did heal you, you just didn't notice because you're tanking their whole belly-flapping team! ">:-(
And is it me, or do ADCs take "Play safe, I'm not going to be here for a few seconds but I'll be back as soon as I can" to mean "Okay, once I'm gone it's your time to go full man mode"

I feel ya. Happened to me like to games ago in ranked. Left Lucian alone for 2 seconds to ward tri, he went agro on the enmey cait and morg and i had to nami ult to save him from my location at the tri xD.

It's especially funny when they try to justify this behavior, typing out long paragraphs of word-salad. Some teammates cannot possibly be pleased; you leave to ward and they try to towerdive, you stay to babysit them and they rage about no wards even tho mid is mia and everyone's pinging us back. But no, clearly the support should just be trying harder.
