What was your best two Playstation2/ Xbox game from way back then and why?

Mine was Def Jam: Fight for NY. The fact I could customize my fighter to learn 3 different fighting styles where each combination is not the same was great. Plus interactive environments, taunts that vary, ability to pick objects and special finishers based on the environment (train, crow office).

Next was 007: Everything or Nothing. Single player mission was alright but where I enjoyed it was the multiplayer missions that I could do. Rappels, split screen where each person was needed to pass a stage (not nowadays that it's all ROFL I EZ OP with mah grenade launcher) and great soundtrack.

So that's my favorite games.

EDIT: I wonder why Riot didn't just move this thread from Gameplay and Balance rather than delete it and make me redo the thread again :(.

For PS2, It was Star Wars Battlefront 2, man I would stay up all night playing that game. It's the only game that I can think of that has a good space battle between 2 ships. From Hoth to Naboo you could play anywhere.

I loved planting sticky grenades on enemy ships right as they got in them. They'd fly out of the hangar and blow up, then I'd go to their gonk droid and get more. Sure, I'd have to clear out all the droids beforehand to do it, but it was worth it.

Tie between Battle Front II and Halo 2. All me and my friends used to play during an FPS phase.

Halo 2, Flatout 2. The only two games my sister's husband had. (Except Medal of Honor, but how did people play that? Yeesh.)

Can't deny it: GTA San Andreas was a great (if not one of the best)ps2 game. Persona 4 was also a nice one too. God of War- The reason your mom wouldn't buy you a ps2 Xbox: never played it before. but probably a halo game since it was what prevented the xbox from dying

I loved Champions of Norrath. Too bad the game was bugged to glitch the map out after a certain amount of time. X_X

Star Wars: Battlefront II and Kingdom Hearts 2. Battlefront II because the space dogfights and great firefights, and Kingdom Hearts 2 because of the stupid hard boss fights and the childhood memories.
