Current galio was a great season 3-4 support but with how everyone and and their mother has mobility spells that also do something else and defensive items got mass nerfs he became worse to use because everyone got better. his new kit is 200% disruptor takeing away all off his damage and giving him poor defensive steroids to do it. not to mention how channeling w locks you out of other actions to use it while reminiscent of galio's old ult his old ult had lots of utility and a shit ton of damage and you didnt have to lock yourself out of actions for a chance to charge it up just so the enemy has time to run away while you are slowing yourself. you put your self in a vulnerable position to be able to use it so it worked instantly and was good for zoneing people as you were an immediate threat. New galio along with every tank riot reworks has massive delays in everything they do and they get average cc for it worse damage and their cooldowns stay super long. Not to mention how things like annie's tibbers seemingly because its on a ranged champion gets to go in cooldown when you summon it. but yorick's maiden of the mist has most of yorick's power locked behind it it says that the maiden and yorick each have four ghouls but summoning maiden will kill any ghouls yorick has. you cant even compare tibbers cooldown to the maiden and tibbers cooldown starts when summoned while the maiden.s cooldown starts when it dies. Tibbers is has more dps than the maiden has more health than the maiden has the ability to regen its health unlike the maiden when annie dies tibbers will hunt down the killer with more dps and regain health when yorick dies the maiden rapidly dies. Tibbers is over all stronger than the maiden. Not to mention the maiden's ai sucks ass and annie has a stronger kit than yorick. Wow wild tangent there but thats just to show how melee characters get scewed in their ass for their weakness which is lack of range compared to ranged characters even on the exact same things (ai pets).
