How to play support - a detailed guide
Start champ select with "Fuck, I got autofilled, I don't have any supports, can someone else support? This is my
only account."
After you ban your adc's intended pick, lock in
and setup full scaling AP runes and masteries.
Start the game with either
or
, and max E, using it on the minion wave whenever possible. Don't waste on the opponent though, that's the adc's job to do damage to champions. Minions only for you. Make sure to stand behind your adc so they take all damage instead of you, they have lifesteal, they'll be fine.
If your adc hasn't left the game yet, put a point in W. This is your highest damaging ability and should be used on the enemy team whenever possible, but don't ever aim it at your team, friendly fire is bannable. Never put a point in Q if you don't have to.
Once you're 6, all of your other skills are now unusable. Just sit back behind your team and try to get as many last hits on enemy champions as possible with your ult. For advanced players, try ulting a minion wave, preferably right before a teamfight like at baron.
At the end of the game, remind your adc in post chat how much more damage you did than them to establish dominance, then quickly leave before they have a chance to respond.
Remember the key to being a good support is to ping "?" whenever your adc dies to boost morale. Sometimes you need multiple pings in a row to make sure they hear it, in case they were alt + tab'd.
After selling your fully stacked
, the recommended build path is

Best of luck playing autofill support!
