You forgot the: "I'm playing a game with my real life friends!" "Time to berate them any time they do something that doesn't follow what I had going on in my head!"

I've sadly done this multiple times, and I could fell the douchiness flow out of me. It's K though. Now we do triple player lane themed teams and always have fun together because it's all of our faults if one of us fucks up.
