well i think it's safe to say that that specific raccoon is scarred for life now (unless raccoons don't have very long memories?) and will never wash anything again :/
Blue Moon Wolf2 votesna, it probably wasn't that traumatizing to make it change it's inborn habits. More likely it was just really shocked that happened and a bit rustled from being ready to eat, then the food disappearing on him.
At the most it would have learned not to wash blocks of sugar, though I don't know how often it would even eats those .__.
