Biff Manly16 votesI mean, the jungle is, but jungling isn't. Knowing when camps pop back up used to be just a pain in the butt best dealt with by [not playing jungle]. Now, you still have to deal with when to gank, map awareness, counter-ganking, counter-jungling, preventing invades, etc. You just don't have to have the ability to hold 5+ timers in your head at once.

but the jungle dynamic hasnt changed much. As far is "the art of war" is concerned its the same battle except you now know that the enemy has knowledge of your camp timers and that he knows that you know his timers...so predicting the enemy is pretty much the same for counter jungling and counter ganking with that as an additional variable
if you failed to adapt, then im sorry but thats how great nations become history books. see you at the library
redniwediS5 votesThere was a time a long time ago when the jungle was not an easy thing to use. It didn't get you much gold or experience, so failing a gank or dying would set you back immensely. This was before Riot decided to officially support the role of Jungler. That is the time I'm referring to.
Technically I'm just saying the picture is old though, since it honestly is really darn old.

roitferret1 votesdude jg used to be no jg items if u didnt have mad sustain ud have to go back early gold sucked so it was super easy to get behind so jg wasnt really as big of a role back then most people started with cloth armor and 5 pots no matter what

roitferret1 votesyou dont need to it just really helps like shaco has no need for a jg item except for the exp boost with is a huuuuge thing but i like em they just differentiate jg from lane i guess u could make it an item for everyone but that seems like it could get broken fast

Hemulen Magi31 votesI checked his match history, and he plays Support > ADC > Mid > Top > Jungler. Jungler was the only role I couldn't find any matches that he played as. I think his image is accurate though. Jungling is the most strategy-dependent but not necessarily most mechanically difficult/punishing role.

Diananmen Square3 votesI must say , as a jung main that is pretty accurate. You have to somewhat predict where the enemy might be and gank lanes or farm based off of that.
Enemy jung at top? Easy dragon right there, or a 3v2 bot lane.
He ganked mid and didn't have red buff at level 3? He's likely going for it now, you can ambush him.
Stuff like that makes the role what it is and I really like it.

Wamuudes2 votesThis honestly reminds me of playing Bot Games with my friends when I first started gettting them into the game.
The Intermid bots got hella fed cuz my friends were idiots, as was the random Rengar player who joined us. I still remember this scene in vivid detail....
My friend and the Rengar were in the bushes in bot lane when Viegar bot starts strolling by. He hasn't seen the Rengar or my friend playing Jinx. THe Viegar Bot is, as I said, fed as balls. And this was back when his Event Horizon insta-stunned you as soon as it was cast. THe Rengar decides to jump on Veigar.
As he moved to jump, my friend shouted out over Skyper "NO KITTY NO!" just as Rengar hurled himself from the bush, was iunstantly clotheslined, and obliterated by Viegar in less than a nanosecond because the bots could cast all of their abilities without delay as soon as they got into range.
To this day we still reference that moment when playing with a bad Rengar.
Wamuudes1 votesI'd say it's more likely a top lane main. THe Jungle part just looks like two grandpas sitting around not doing anything; equally insulting as opposed to the slugfest depicted for Top Lane.
From what I've gathered, this pic comes from all the way back in Season 2, so if he was a Jungle mina, the maker of this was someone who got just as utterly shafted as the Supports did back then in terms of a team's general attitude towardss them and the items they had to work with.

Automatis6 votesMid lane is the only one that really doesn't fit, it should be a picture of rocket tag from halo or something. Mid laners don't slap each other a bunch, they nuke each other at lvl 6 and someone lucks out with 50 hp left.
