To be fair, Jump had rushed Kubo and health issues were giving him trouble as well.

Ywach was too OP for his own good, though.

Wouldn't say they rushed him, The arch started off fine, then right when it got to the Zero division it got stupid

like Every soul reaper who was a sub captain was now suddenly SUPER strong and even stronger then their Captain / Yamato.

Then magically ALL of them were Stronger then the fabled zero division.

Then you had bosses like the giant Guy who Gets cut in half, Blown up, Shattered, And every thing and just keeps coming back to life because " its a miracle"

Granted the fights up to the poison guy were great loved it.

then after that moment it just turned the nose down and kicked on the afterburners.

Ywach, was just stupid.

Honestly I would have rather read another season of InuYasha and see how many other Barriers Naraku could have come up with.

Poison Guy was probably the second to last of the good fights, the final one being Aizen vs Ywach. I loved how Urahara was the 5th war power by being "the guy with a plan for ANYTHING". However I found it odd that Kubo seemed to forget that he had marked Ishida Uryu as one of the 5 war powers, and therefore could have avoided marking Zero Division Beard Guy as one. Aizen had also shown just how powerful he was, even with his limiters by taking on Ywach solo and still managing to confuse him into thinking he was fighting 3 enemies.

In regards to Zero Division, I think that the biggest problem was that they were completely outmatched once Swordsmith was taken down in a single shot. I'm willing to wager that most of them were not truly combat ready, and therefore despite their strength they were no match for the elite force. Seriously, one had cooking as her weapon and the other woman couldn't fight directly.

However, in regards to Gerard Valkyrie (Sternritter M, The Miracle), it should have been pretty obvious why Gerard kept reviving in Ywach's palace, but not when he was one-shot by Swordsmith. It's because he only had one opponent at the time, therefore only one chance to win. If at any point, they fought him one on one when he was in the palace, he would have immediately lost out on his powers of revival and died to the next killing blow.

I would also like to put out there that I actually enjoyed Lillie vs the new Captain Commander (can't remember his name, want to say it started with a K). Lillie was basically the left hand of Ywach, second to only Ywach himself and Sternritter B. Having that level of power made sense, and finally being struck down by a blade designed for the sole purpose of slaying divine beings was a nice turn. The only part that really confused me is how he ended up in a state where the deceased Lieutenant Kira could cut him down.

Except for Gerard's fight in Ywach's Palace, all of the "Elite Four" fights were good. I think if Kubo took the time, he could have given Gerard a proper death by having Squad Zero Beard Guy show up later, and taking on the behemoth on his own. Given that he could stand toe to toe with Ywach himself, it shouldn't be too hard to believe he could have taken out Gerard there and would have followed suit with Gerard's prior death.

I think there could have been better ways to take out Ywach, but I'm not going to argue too much about it. There needed to be a quick finish to his bullshit, so giving him a bullshit death was fitting.
