At least they didn't deny, then have league freak out and load for 3 minutes because it doesn't just cancel the second someone denies.
I sometimes do that accidently with my friends, if they ask me why I didn't accept I simply say "my dog peed on the ceiling again sorry"

Not everyone can instantly accept. Perhaps they were hungry and was waiting for 10-ish minutes without a que and got something to eat?
Or perhaps they were too busy doing something else?
Que for a dungeon in WoW as DPS, have an average 20 minute wait.... then the tank/healer doesn't accept que.... wait another 20 minutes.
That is hell. Average league ques are less than 5 minutes.
