Rip the good old days when his Q-W combo had a 1.8 ap ratio. Buy 3 dorans rings and some mobis and run around the map murdering with is point and click stun.

I miss old sion. At least new sion is really fun in different ways.

For Sion I typically get Doran's Ring/2 pots to lane, E and W do more damage then Q unless its fully charged. If I go mid lane I will go for a early Banner of command if they are AP heavy. It's actually more effective in all stages in the game because it's chunks hard when you max E, W, then Q. (I know this is meme's & games but it's legit).

The extra mana regen and mana per CS really helps you keep up the E harass to plink people out of lane with. Resist item starts work yeah, but you aren't gaining lane control off of that... there is a reason why D-Ring or Corrupted pot are his best starts.
