On one side, they made it through more than NA. On the other side, they had the easiest group stage imaginable.

All the EU lcs teams look terrible right now. G2, the "kings of eu" needed UOL to throw more than they did themselves to win their series together.

oh gosh yea, TSM might have been NA best shot but they got stuck with RNG and SSG in just groups, they had it real bad lol

I'm looking forward to how the changes to MSI/Worlds with every region getting teams in the pre-group stage. Hope to see some of them pull through and pull some new meta shit into the mix, like ANX did last year.

C9 get through in the easiest group with the lowest quality of play, though And RNG 2-0d TSM, so it is not like they deserved to get through, or would have really beaten any of the Korean teams, RNG or H2K

please, H2K had the easiest groups, I wouldn't consider drawing SKT easy for C9, not to mention H2K beat ANX the completely unexpected wildcard, which was still a sub par team, after their easy groups and easy quarterfinals, they get stomped by SSG, it wasn't even close to being close, H2K didn't earn much either

H2K had 0 competition, yes EDG is decent but H2K easily outranks them, the fact that once they faced an actual good team they go 0-3 and get crushed is what i'm referring to

Why are we even arguing about this? Both EU and NA are bad compared to Korea. There's no way around it, we need better teams.

Nope you are a butthurt fan using the terrible "luck of draw" argument EDG was a team actually better than what any NA one was at Worlds, they took a LEGIT game in QF off ROX Tigers (I repeat, a LEGIT game, not like the TSM game in S4 QF where the Korean team clearly trolling/disrespecting)

Both NA and EU had team lucky and unlucky in their draws, but EU even being bad slightly surpassed NA as far as result goes because NA was even worse than that. And that's not even an argument that should be made by any guy that wants to have a serious discussion
