Well she is supposed to be league's premiere healer... That's her entire purpose. She brings utility through heals. She does negligible damage so when the opposing team has a soraka, you're essentially fighting 4v5. That missing 5th player is made up by great heals on the other 4.

What's your build? I'll give it a shot and see. I just find her damage lackluster. I'm use to Sona where I can 2 shot squishies with a Q and a Sheen proc off her empowered auto attack. I've never seen a Soraka do that.

You don't 2-shot people as Soraka, no matter your build, but you can become something like a drain-mage like Swain with enough Ap and a situational Spirit Visage. You just have to hit your Qs
