League is a competitive environment and i accept that for the reason people have emotions that are let out in competitive play and bantering is a form of expression in showing your enthusiasm of the game. If people cannot understand that people get excited and show joy and discouragement of the other team. Then is really me that shouldn't be playing.

Sounds like people want a competitive league of tic tac toe where its almost impossible to lose a game.

They bump fists or whatever and say "good game."

What happen to playful bantering. Now games feel like your little brother running to mommy each time because you beat him at Go fish.

You conveniently leave out the part where you tease your brother over it and get in trouble with mommy. Win or lose, you're expected to show sportsmanship. If I lost and raged at the enemy team (or my team!), it would be unsportsmanlike just as much as rubbing it in to the enemy team.

You seriously left out the part that mocks the concept? "gg" is fine, or whatever variation. "GG EZ" is a purposeful mockery of what is supposed to be a sportsmanlike phrase, to acknowledge your opponent's efforts win or lose. It's why both sides say it, not one or the other.

It's clear you don't really understand the point of sportsmanship. Have you ever played actual competitive sports? Do you really think this attitude is limited to League? If you want to bring up the real world, then I'm sorry but it's obvious you've never participated in sports. Martial arts, basketball, football, soccer, this kind of attitude is a requirement.

In the real world, during real sports, played by real people, who make millions of real dollars playing, with hundreds of millions of real people watching, there are real penalties.

It really makes me wonder how people function in the real world when there is so much offensive crap that i am surprised they even leave mommy's house.

Edit: I get told i am BAD and TRASH in this game all the time. What do i do about it. Nothing! I move on to the next game, because there not even worth my time and chances are ill never see them again.

Except that you're not playing against your brother. You're playing against a brother from another mother, also from a different race/age/country/pets.

Do note that I said ""gg ez" is bad, not only "gg". Only "gg" is referred as "good game man", whilst "gg ez" is referred as "good game, btw thank god you suck so bad". Unsportmanship conduct will still be punished, no matter how tough you think you are.
