It truly pains me to see how insanely ignorant people are. Anyone who takes this shit seriously either have not been playing much competitive games or just blatantly follows the large majority of the crowd.

The skill level between the lowest - low upper part of the ladder will always be close together for all competitive games as long as there's a decent amount of players in each Region. As long as there isn't a large upset in amount of players in each Region, the skill difference will always be closer together regardless of the region you're in. Which is why even fighting games only have a few top tier players that consistently win -- and the first 3 people are almost never from the same Region.

Skill gaps only ensue around the top parts of the ladder due to people figuring out better/unnatural strategies or finding out the optimal strategies before other regions, which is why Korea is so good at the TOP of the ladder and also why D1 - Challenger players go to the korean bootcamp to practice. A Bronze Korean will not come to NA and magically make Plat. He's at the lower end of the ladder for a reason. A Gold, korean, however, may come to NA and make Plat if he was struggling in the upper portions of Gold. However, even that is iffy because it depends entirely on how the surroundings was in Korean Gold compared to NA Gold.

The changes may be so much, that the Korean Gold may even struggle getting back to his regular position. Likewise, a Gold player won't go to Korea to practice and then magically come back better. He still has to put in the work. If he hits Plat in Korea, he's not going to come back and hit Diamond in NA. That's not how this shit works. Huge skill level gaps, especially in the solo aspects of team games, are few and far between regardless of region.

Please read up on stuff before you post mindless, opinionated reasoning as facts.

I don't have to read anything. Korea won LCS 3 times and NA servers are toxic, that's all I need to see and know. I don't know what about NA makes people troll and be more toxic compared to other regions but its not a statisical false statement that NA is lacking in many aspects that other regions excel in such as cooperation and sportsmanship.

Is NA the worst? I haven't been to every region so I can't say, is Korea the best? Judging by their overall performance in competitive they stand out loud, tall, and clear.

Lol I remember jensen (NA) talking shit about faker and then fed him. Even in LCS NA has to BM and be toxic. I don't blame the region, I blame the players which make up the region.

I didn't make my post to discuss regions either, I made it to make a joke which typical NA takes seriously. I wouldn't make an entire thread in this one over somebody's comical opinion, in memes and games of all places lol.

Well, as sarcasm is hard to detect on the intranet, you could've replied saying duh or something and just squash the whole thing right there. You yourself just said that Korean Bronze was NA Plat in response to my comment, which was more of a concern rather than calling you out. I wasn't sure if you were or were not aware of it being a joke.

Now, I don't watch a lot of LCS, but I'm not aware of any such BM from any NA teams. You have to realize that it's all friendly banter when it comes to competitive games. Also, saying that NA is lacking in cooperation and sportsmanship is false. Each region has equal sportsmanship and cooperation as any other, as you would expect from professional players.

The word you're looking for would be coordination and strategy. That's the only thing you could say other regions are lacking that Korea has over them. You're generalizing when every other region has just as much toxicity as the rest.

The only reason Korea will see LESS cheating/hacking/BM/Bad Mouth/Name calling etc is due to them only being able to make ONE account per SSN. The risks are greater for them which is why they have more discipline than any other region. You can't compare them to the pampered Regions that have a lot more soft repercussions.

But I'll save face. We'll call it a truce here and say we both learned something. I apologize for misinterpreting your message.

Yeah, the text generator takes as argument what URL you access it from despite the fact you must have set region to EUW while logging in. According to that, I am best at Evelyn in NA because I got pentakill with her in URF. :) Still it warmed the hole where my heart should be to read that.
