This is true though. Idk why people don't play Master Yi more. He's fun and wins games easily and is by far the most powerful champion. Every time I win with Yi, I'm like "lol, you should've picked Yi if you wanted to win." Dumb scrubs.

But nah, people are either scared of other people shit talking them, or they want the approval of others by playing "skilled" champions they suck ass at. Or they simply have another favorite. The first 2 reasons are just silly.

Yi is one of those champs with a bad rep. Its incredible how easy it is to fail with him. Bad timing or map awareness will make you a giant liability to your team. I feel like when I started maining Yi a few seasons ago, my engage timing got better through failures etc.

In the hands of someone with good timing, hes always been incredibly powerful. Now im speaking before metagolem, which I feel has taken the spirit out of many champion's kits, master yi among them.

Allow me to introduce you to our Freelo saviours, Braum + Lucian / Twitch / Vayne / KogMaw

Also I find it easier to carry with basically the same items that Yi gets as Jax since Jax just does more with the items most Yis buy, at least if he is jungling.

If you've never seen Braum go ham and land a Q then Twitch just broadsides the guy out of stealth you have never known true fear. And if Vayne gets the triple tap on a target that was hit by Braum's Q you get to just watch them melt. It's mostly Braum's passive being really good and the other two have the brief window of crazy power to make it work. Lucian is good because it gives you almost a guaranteed passive proc thanks to the double auto, then he can burst for free, and Kog is Kog.

Sounds less like it being Braum + whoever, and more that it's just Braum based on your comment. I mean, a Ranger's Focused up Ashe is also pretty damn scary when paired when Braum. In fact, incredibly scary. The fight starts with you slowed, and that status never changes or goes away the entire rest of the fight. So if they snowball, you can't even try to escape your death. Bam, I just made a combo sound even more obnoxious than the board circlejerk brigade (not saying you're part of the circlejerk).

I mean yeah, it's mostly Braum empowering other champions to do their high damage basically for free, but I don't tend to like, say, Jinx or Corki with Braum since they already have a means of getting their damage out so later on you feel mostly irrelevant unless you get a good ult or manage to peel somebody off like a band-aid. I also really don't like Braum + Graves just because it takes Graves a lot more effort to get things done with Braum than say, Nautilus or Leona.

Why? Even champs like FIora who are cancer to deal with take skill to climb with. Yi doesn't. AFK farm, and build off tank and be able to 1v3 later on
