How to make a thread that will convince Riot to buff/nerf a champion of your choice!

Hey there!

Are you tired of playing your gutted™ Mages/Supports? Do you not want to learn how to play against champions who require you to do more than mindlessly spam QWE? Do you think that complex and hard-to-master mechanics should be 100% deleted from the game?

Well then, my child, fear no more. Because I have brought you a totally foolproof strategy on how to achieve all your goals, and get you to challenjour in no time!

It is called: "Beg Riot for a buff/nerf!"

"But how do I do this?" Well, it is simple, and I shall show you how:

First of all, look at the sidebar on the left of the screen and click on "Gameplay." Did you manage that? Awesome, let's move on. Click on "Create A Discussion" and then title your post something that will not only convince Riot, but the rest of the boards that the champion you have selected is truly worthy of the buff/nerf that you are proposing.

If you want a buff, using these templates will generally work:

  • "I've been a [Insert Champion Here] main for [Insert any number between 6 and 2 here] and [he/she/it/they] desperately need buffs!" (This one works greatly because you said you had been maining your champion for many years, even if that isn't true. But hey, it's on the internet so it's obviously true, right?)

  • "Hey Riot, don't you think [Insert Champion Here] finally needs some buffs?" (Use this one is you're salty. The phrasing is so conversational that people reading it will think you are casually bringing it up, instead of throwing a temper tantrum like a child who doesn't get what they want.)

  • "If you plan on keeping [Insert Current META Champion Here] as strong as [he/she/it/they] [is/are], then at the very least buff [Insert Champion Here]" (If you precede your buff demand request by stating that a META champion is strong, people will obviously upvote you to the best section, even if the champion you're requesting a buff for doesn't do anything to limit that META champ's power.)

If you want to ask for a nerf instead, use these:

  • "[Insert Champion Here] is downright oppressive!" (Putting this as your title and then writing noting but a "^" or "title" in your body will convince everyone that your request must be 100% justified, because no explanation is obviously the best explanation!)

  • "Can we all agree that we hate [Insert Champion Here}?" (This one works because it takes advantage of the bandwagon effect. In other words, it's the circlejerk equivalent of throwing a jerrycan into a bonfire.)

  • "[Insert Champion Here] is overloaded as hell!" (Putting this and following it with listing everything the champion has in his/her/its/their kit will totally show that the champion has 0 counterplay and does everything perfectly!)

Now that you have created your title, make sure you include at least one of these in your post:

  • Casually mention how Sona is gutted.
  • Mention how Zed is too safe.
  • Mention that you hate Yasuo.
  • Mention how supports can do no wrong and that ADCs are to blame for 9/11.
  • Mention how Junglers are 100% of the time carrying the game and can never be inept.
  • Always try your best to justify a mage 100-0ing a champion instantly, and flame assassins doing the same, even though the latter have 9/10 a lot more counterplay.

There you go, you've created your first Buff Beg/QQ thread, aren't you a little genius! Now, go out there and make a complete and utter moron of yourself make me proud!

######This is all sarcastic if you couldn't tell, btw.

just throw in buzzwords such as "toxic", "low interactivity", "feast/famine" and "unhealthy" and you're golden

The first step is to become a Pro player

The second step is to play that Champion in Pro Play

The third step is to show Riot that the Champion you're playing is super OP by winning game or doing well with it

The 4th step is get an interview and just start saying this Champion is so OP and I hope it doesn't get nerf using "Reverse Psychology"

The 5th step is continue the process

The 6th step, wait for other player to pick up the Champion as well

and then hppefully.......................
