It's not coming back this season, and no amount of "Rissotto, give us solo-hue now or we will riot!" threads can change that. We're more than half-way through the season, rebooting the ranked ladder right now would be completely pointless. We have no proof if SoloQ players or DynQ players are in the majority, even though Riot's silence heavily points towards the former being in the majority, we still have no solid proof.

All you can do is hope that it comes back next season, and here's something pointing towards that

Well if it's not back by the beginning of season 7, I'm done with League.

True. If any riot employee happens to have a boards account and has been on it in the past 3 months, they will find that 1/3 of posts are about solo q. They know people don't like it. Don't be mad at them for trying to better the game even if it was unsuccessful. They really do want their players to have fun, so quit threatening to quit because of one change you didn't like. If you're really truly so done with league over this and somehow queuing ruined the play of the game for you, then quit without complaining. We don't care.
