Don't forget streamers.

They easily make it into diamond but smurf in silver so they can faceroll on the keyboard and destroy noobs blindfolded just so they look good and have people complement them.

Some people are attention whores and desperately crave the fans. But careful if you kill a surfing diamond streamer, people will spam message you calling you "Try hard kid", "No life smurfing fk", ect.

I've seen it from some pro league players who stream.

Their fans haras the person and they eventually find the stream and tell the streamer to make them stop. People bash them there too.

It shouldn't be too hard to find their streams but if someone starts owning them. You'll notice chat becomes white knights and once in game the player had to tell them he was being spammed by the pro player's watchers.

Lol I've never watched a player who steamed and had that sort of thing happen, but you'd think the streamer would be offended. Like one of 2 things is true if you're not upset your viewers are doing that: 1) You're so worried that you can't have a bad game, that you're legitimately concerned over 1 lose and can't let that stand as a "everyone has a bad game sometimes, climbing is about being able to consistently have more good ones than you do bad ones" moment, or 2) You actually would rather that person have a handicap of your viewers spam messaging him and causing a distraction because you can't play fair vs someone who gets an advantage vs you. Either way it reflects really poorly on the quality of the streamer as a player, and why would you want to watch someone when you could find players who are better than that pretty easy. I mean, I don't watch silver streams bc what am I gonna learn there, and I don't want to watch a high elo streamer (D1+) who is so insecure they can't use a lost lane to teach about the game and how to come back/mentality for climbing solo que.

:P Assuming this is sarcasm or you just watch different streamers than I do. I think I've only seen one streamer who I watched w/ a silver account and he only used it to play w/ viewers and play stuff that he wasn't hard carrying w/ so he wouldn't ruin low elo games.

Most streamers I've seen w/ a smurf play unranked to diamond/master/challenger series, and commentate on why they do something in game, how that is impacting the game to increase win odds, or what players in the game could be doing to push their advantage more (sometimes pointing out when players do that and saying why it was good). Those accounts are never in silver bc even if placements go bad they are somewhere in gold bc they won enough early placements they didn't lose them till vs gold players. Even then they go up and are playing high gold/low plat in 20 games played or under usually, 30 at the absolute most.

People are taking the analogy as a metaphor.

They play against players they know they can beat so that they feel like they're accomplishing something when in reality they're not.

I don't think I am stupid just a little less experience than high elo players. So, I don't think that is true. They do not play against stupid people. They are playing against less experience people. Some of them just want to be better and climb where those smurf main account is.

But mostly, I just want to have fun playing this game in my free time. ^^

The OP isn't saying that lower ELO people are stupid, it's more that some people who smurf just do it so that they can inflate their ego by playing with people who don't know the game as well as them.

I actually despise smurfs. It's goddamn disrespectful and unfair if you try. why does a diamond feel the need to play with bronze and silver players and play vayne? why do you feel so goddamn special about that?

Then, there are those, most likely yourself, that do stupid builds, or break the meta, and tbh, you guys are my favorite. you not only have fun, but your skill level is usually enough to make those builds work, so you are still helping your team. and if not, it was still pretty funny watching you try.

To be fair that's worst then bots and in silver I still carry with out know what I am doing. I was trying to learn ez and I ended up 20+/5/xx in 2 games

Or when I have bad games I go 15/2/xx as jungler, but the team says I suck because I should have not taken all the kills :)

No normals are worse than bots.

There really isn't an excuse to smurf in ranked, smurfing because you want to lvl with your friend is okay, but smurfing to get your friend to diamond isn't.

Hate to break it to you but you cant get your friend to diamond because unlike people think one person cant carry the entire team 100% of games hell barely even 50% when people say that they "carried themselves out" they are ignoring the fed adc in bot lane/the fed irelia in top lane/the fed assassin/mage in mid lane because they want the credit. unless your talking about them using their friends account to get to diamond at which point that's not smurfing thats elo boosting they are similar but they are different things one of which can result in a perma ban the other just makes you a jackass.

Usually when people say they "carried themselves out" it means they didn't resort to being a jackass or duoing with a very skilled player to do so.

They managed to go on a consistent win streak that they mostly were responsible for (you don't get lucky and carried every game).

I started smurfing recently, and I honestly find that the quality of my opponents rises at a far greater rate than the quality of my teams as I move up through the ranks. I've been smurfing in Gold and Plat as a diamond player and the teams honestly feel no different than diamond teams I get on my main account, but the enemies definitely aren't as good. It's just less stressful. It's not like I'm dominating these games either; I'm playing just to play and practice champs I don't normally play.

I feel worse now that I'm in plat than I did in silver.

In silver I carried games.

In plat I'm in tryhard mode all the time and each games is a challenge.

I have a smurf (I shouldn't have one since I'm still learning the game after 2 years or so)

The smurf is indeed to play with lower levels BUT this time I'm leveling that account at a slower pace and learning the basics again. Cause I may be better than some complete newbies but not good as an everyday LoL normie.

Also I don't do ranked on that account, nor am I thinking of doing it. Ranked is prettty scary.
