PaladinNO3 votesI understand what you mean; we've had 5 Red posts in the EUNE comment section over the past 3 years (yeah, a lot, ain't it), and on one of the occasions, the Red making that post (Draggles; to clarify something) got the response "Poland and bronze need solo server riot pls" [sic].
I found myself having a sudden urge to strangle that person for his ignorance and stupidity.
However, while I understand their perspective, that's not really an excuse to not engaging in a discussion at all. They feels harrassed, or the thread fills with spam and irrelevancy, the Board mods needs to step in and handle it. The Red's just (and this is unfortunate) need a thick skin, unless neither of them have that and that's why we don't see them. I dunno, but I don't buy the "company can't-tell-you policy" BS anymore.
I've been wanting to have a serious discussion with some Red's about details or just a general subject on many occasions (mostly in the EUNE comment section - especially when they tell us "let us know what you think below"), but seemingly with no interest from them (they don't ever respond there), it leaves me to not care either - and bash them for their apparent lack of care, if I am to be brutally honest.

No, idea, but all I know is that a lot of news content is either never posted on EUNE or vastly delayed.

I posted a notification about that fact to a Rioter, but only got some generic, nonsensical reply back.
And here I have another joke for you: Regarding translations, I have heard this argument (also made by someone from the EUNE news comment section) over the reason for content taking such a long time to get from NA to EUNE: it doesn't get to the [English] page because it have to be translated first. I mean, translated from what? American? I haven't heard the argument "American is not English [British]" - and that from an English-teacher no less - since high-school. xD
There are indeed valid arguments to move to NA (cannot post in the NA news section when from EUNE), as there seems to be both more Red activity here as well as less stupidity, but my ingame ping would then get FUBAR ("rekt", to use LoL terminology). :'(
If the ingame ping on the NA server would be same as on the PBE server when playing from my location, I wouldn't get less than 200ms (tested on a 700Mbps connection). And thats kinda...ouch.

Your teacher did have a point to make there, but it's a pretty annal one. Proper British English has afew less words and spells a couple things differently than proper American English.
