Except she doesn't. All of poppy damage in lane is on Q which can easily be shielded and she will just run out of mana if you just keep forcing fights. If she tries to ever E on you she will take a stun straight to the face and have to walk away from you as you wail on her with Q and autos. Even at 6 you can easily disengage from Poppy if she wants to all on you and then turn on her after her ult wears out and she is at less than half mana from using it and W to attempt to catch you.

If someone picks Poppy, I'm instantly scared. Good Poppy's are wrecking balls, they might get bullied in lane, but if they can get some farm and hit 6 they will wreck. Late game she gets unkillable in the right hands.

Over all my games i'v said i'v fought her as Riven maybe five times, and haven't lost lane against her, i'v died to her sure but never lost the lane. I'v doing Riven Jungle a lot more now though so :P
