Either means:
- I enjoy playing new things the pros do that become meta.
or
- I enjoy trolling my allies by forcing them to play around my decision to screw up the team comp, and justify it by only remembering the wins.

And you made this thread, so you’ve consigned yourself to the fate of hearing about some of my (slightly) off meta builds.
Aftershock Sejuani Jungle with Triforce and Wit’s End. You go Cinderhulk as normal, but the attack speed lets you stack permafrost faster.
Attack Speed Volibear. Triforce and Titanic Hydra as first two items, max W first for huge attack speed boosts and trading potential.
Kayle Jungle going Fleet Footwork, Timewarp Tonic, and Biscuits Delivery. With E max, though your lvl 1 is weak, you’re clear isn’t bad if you kite, and you can 1v1 most jungler a once you’re lvl 3. It may not technically be off-meta, but I’ve yet to see another Kayle jungler, so yeah.
ADC Swain with Press the Attack. Rush Blade of the Ruined King as your first item, max Nevermove first. It’s good up until mid game, so you have to finish the game quickly; otherwise, your booty attack scaling will be your demise.
Magic Pen Mundo. The cool thing about this build is that building Sorc Boots as first item is a viable option. Your cleaver’s damage skyrockets with magic pen. I normally go Sunfire and Spirit visage as normal, then I build Morello’s, Rylai’s and Liandry’s.
Most of my other “off-meta builds”, like ASAP Varus, are meta now, so that’s what I’ve got.
Which is funny that people pick it because it looks and sounds cool when you realize that Ezreal (the pretty boy, weeaboo trash who is the farthest thing from edgelord) is the posterboy of the faceless. If they're looking for edgelord then they should have been going warband since that's the one about being the fighter and carry all about microplay. Kat is the postergirl of warband and even Zed (who is pretty much Riot's posterboy for edgelord) is referenced in the warband mission. But it's purple and Kat's battle academy skin is pink so they aren't gonna immediately associate Warband with edgelord like they are when they look at the red symbol and the name Faceless.
No. People hate off-meta builds. Recommended is their way to go.
