Stat-wise, Hextech Rocket looks good on him, though you wouldn't get it because there are better items, and Vlad doesnt care about your petty mana problems.

Personally, I'll take CDR and a cheaper price over the AP we're losing for Zhonyas - Vlad doesnt care about having loads of AP since he deals sustained damage anyway. The CDR on Abyssal is equally loved, and the changes to Spirit Visage are going to be spectacular on him.

Furthermore, the lack of WotA means he'll have an entire open slot to itemize! And since he's being rebalanced around not having WotA, it'll be like if Viktor didnt have to reserve a slot for Hexcore, but got to keep the bonuses anyway!

I don't personally know what the old Count Vlad skin art looked liked but trying to google it seems to be this? http://www.gosugamers.net/starcraft2/images/2012/july/Count-Vladimir-Skin.jpg People really prefer this?? It looks so amateur. The new one looks stupid too but it was drawn a long time ago also.

Honestly, I find the old Count splash to have a sense of charm in its aged design. For a chroma, it had a pretty nice looking splash.

I'm actually 100% ok with the new splash except the head/face. I mean, his hair looks like a black scarf wrapped vertically like an old nanny with an antennae under it and I can't actually think of an analogy I would use to describe his face.
