Not as much, they lowered tibbers initial burst damage by quite a bit (-25 base and -.15 scaling). That's a pretty hefty amount of burst and might alleviate this issue somewhat.

That's only about 100 damage if she has 700 AP.

Not even considering that her burst combo will be stronger with the new Hextech Rocket Belt as well.

True, but maybe with the AP item changes she won't have as much AP as she used to either? I think she's still going to be scary af, just kinda hoping these changes have the net effect of smoothing out her damage pattern a bit.

The new way to play Annie will be this: You drop Tibbers early since he gets enraged on summons, then you go thru your rotation getting the stun on the last spell to get him enraged again. This will let you get max enrage time for Tibbers since this is when he will be wrecking face.

Overall this is going to make Annie much less toxic since she will have reduced burst and more damage over time. I really love that Tibbers persists after death like the Heimer turrets. You have to respect that and get away from him now.
