After playing through Persona 4 golden, and maxing Kanji's social link, as well as using him in battle (seriously him with power charge deals over 1000 damage to the true final boss, its freaking insane) Kanji is basically, like, my fav video game character ever now. X3 I wish I could cosplay him even. I may be a straight male, but if they would have given me the option to romance Kanji, I SOOOO would have LOVED to do that. <3
And when I played persona 3 portable as the male, Mitsuru was who I romanced, though I didn't use her in battle. Still, she's pretty dang awesome.
I never would have thought I'd see someone who shares some of my opinions on the masterpieces that is the persona games on the league of legends boards.
This is like fate. Two fans with similar opinions cross paths for the first time, starting an epic saga of awesomeness and friendship! [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

I actually was lucky enough to get the special edition of fire emblem fates, which has all 3 paths on one cartridge. Before I played persona I was a 100% through and through FE fanboy, now I can't decide which I like more. XD
I REALLY want persona Q, since I don't have it I've watched the opening song for when you start up the game on youtube at least 30+ times by now. Thing is, I'm saving money for a car, so I can't afford to spend it on a video game rn. ;-; But hey, I'm still in high school, so since I haven't moved out yet, maybe me family can get it for me for christmas. XD
But then again my family was hopin to get a Ps4 for when persona 5 comes out.

iamthegoatofwar1 voteswell since it warns you in the difficulty option if your party leader dies gg. Both sides come with their down sides for leaders in battle. P3 MC Is weak to electric AND mudo skills. However he is more of mage put him on your back line. P4 MC Is strong to electric and mudo, however he's not very good as a mage so he has to be put upfront, and that means he doesn't get the damage reduction from being in the back.
CasterGilgamesh1 votesi went the p4 rout since i like p4 better i have my mc in the back and have him as a healer while Akihiko takes his spot i have kanji and Chie up front and i have naoto in back once i get the last party spot ill get mitsiru to back as a mage i have naoto also as a healer i have my Mc as a healer with the item that gives him the ability to use that blessing spell that blocks all binds and stat effects i like to still use moves like gulitine strike and once i land crits i use my support spells so that way i save SP naoto is the healer with Diarama to heal the whole party i use Fuka as a back up healer if my mc gets better at healing ill switch out fuka for the other girl (i cant spell her name) so that Kanji gets more chances to move first and deal massive damage

As for the fukka/rise thing most of fukka's skills are nice to have since they can help me out in emergencies where my party's hp is too low. Rise makes turn costs zero/makes the party move 1st, but agility and luck can negate those bonuses, but having passive hp regen is always nice.
CasterGilgamesh1 votesat first i wanted to make a pure elemental mage character from my mc which would take a lot of fusing personas and killing those FOE's but magic is too expensive to use so ill just do it on the last mode when i have the most experience The MC from P3 is a good support since he learns that really strong debilitate ability and with more fusing you could probs get him some binding spells and healing
iamthegoatofwar1 votesYep that's exactly what I have him do. He also doubles up as my fire caster (Since he learns agi skill it makes sense combo that with his high magic stat). My party is basicly P4 MC and shinji up front with zen, yukari, and P3 MC in the back. Yukari handles my wind casting with good healing and high magic stats. I try to give her personas with different elemental magics as well. Zen and rei are...well zen and rei. There's about nothing they can't do well. Yu is my electric guy and uses some physical skills. Shinji is my main physical attacker period. He also has agility bind skill so far just in case.
CasterGilgamesh1 votesway different then my team I Use Akihiko as the best source of physical damage i gave him the elemental attacks that also count as physical with Kanji as my biggest tank taking almost all the hits plus when he crits i use his spells he cant normally use with how low his SP is to buff my party and himself i have Chie as my second biggest physical damage threat plus she like Kanji can have access to some small buffs to a team mate mainly that crit boosting thing i give her personas with high Hp so she can be even tankyer i have my back line with myself the P4 MC using thunder spells and trying to heal and buff i use to use Arc angle for his healing but now i use Red rider (im trying to make pale rider for Kanji to use) i plan to make Lucifer later i dont know what i wwant after that i love Naoto as she is the Instant Death Queen then i dont know if i want Mitsiru for more elemental caster in the back or Agis so she can make my party more tanky by taking hits for them
iamthegoatofwar1 votesIf your back line is constantly a worry then pick aigis the swordbreaker passive will help with the issue. Thing about aigis though is she's generally accepted to be better on the front line due to her tankyness. mitsuru I look at her skills and I honestly don't see how she's useful at all really save for the fact that from i can tell she's the only one besides zen to learn bufu class skills. If you really want a mage for elemental casting yukari is probably the best way to go since in emergencies she doubles up as a healer. Just give her a persona with a bufu skill and you've basicly got mitsuru right there. (I am only on my 1st run though of the game however so there might be some tactics im not aware of yet.)
EDIT: I can see why you want mitsuru now because i just got her to hit level 23 from doing requests so I get it now. I guess since she learns mind charge it could be useful.

UB3R 1337 H4X1 votesBy leaps and bounds, there are legitimately arguments for the anime portraying a better story than the game at some times, although admittedly that lies mostly on the comedy.
CannonLordFreed1 votesSo not at all like the devil survivor anime where everyone but Hibiki, Yamato, Daichi, and Io flip through the character revolving door and get absolutely no love whatsoever. The only thing the DS2 anime did right was the opening and closing song and animation. Especially the closing.
UB3R 1337 H4X1 votesOne thing worth noting is that the persona games feature a huge cast of over 20 characters all with there own arcs which the player progresses through, however, for the sake of runtime all of those not directly part of the main cast (about 10 characters) are more so cut down to supporting roles and cameo appearances.

It's been received well enough that it's got... A remake for Vita A manga Two fighting games A rhythm game A crossover game Two different anime ...I think that's all. It's pretty good- one of the few times I've ever played a game and genuinely felt fear for asfatetagaga when she's taken away. I steamrolled through that dungeon in one go because I wanted to save her so badly.
