He's very overweight, since he clearly doesn't get out of the house much; a gargantuan, disgustingly broken tongue that stretches across time and space to kill me through walls, basically scripts and follows me wherever I go, even if he can't see me, and a multitude of deadly Teemo mushrooms planted on his back that never trigger but still scare me.

This champ makes me happy that you get to brutally kill him and rob him over and over again and that he is isolated in a corner of the jungle with no friends at all.

Gromp is but a king who has but one friend Ivern . It just so happens that his friend been smelling that burning bush to much and ever around when he is getting robbed.

But gromp is a normal frog who just happened to jump on a magic mushroom. When he spawns u see the little frog jump onto a mushroom. Also u can never kill him. If you look closely you can see that he hops away after defeat.
