The worst part about the Kayle rework...

...is that there's a 99.99% guarantee Riot won't listen to any criticism whatsoever, or even suggestions on how to amend, if even partially, this atrocity. They won't fix her generic, bland, "look at my hips and crotch" spandex suit, they won't fix her absolutely pathetic wings (if you can even call that Halloween costume accessory a pair of wings), they won't fix her giraffe neck, odd face and horrible, out-of-place punk hair, they won't fix her color scheme, they won't fix her lack of armor, none of it.

The old, righteous, heavily-clad, red white and gold, justice delivering battle angel we knew as Kayle, is gone for good. What remains is a hollow, fractured, shell. A very poor fan-fiction interpretation. A cash grab. There is no hope.

It's a true shame, really. Just foreshadows the sad and bleak futures of many female champions who are bound to get reworked at some point or another, and how they'll be shoved into the same, worn out formula and emerge as an entirely different character, devoid of any unique qualities, failing to fulfill their intended fantasy, and becoming complete sellouts for a few extra bucks in the billion-dollar company's wallet.

And I truly wished that people could quote this post, and show me just how wrong I was. I would love for that to happen! Because then, Riot will have showed they actually care about anything that we say, especially when it's about a champion who is being visually trashed and thrashed for the sake of money!

But we all know that won't happen.

Yea I very much prefered old kayle, her default skin still had the kinda weird boob cups in the armor but it was still FULL PLATE unlike this new one.

im so tired of riot stifling the lady champions unique themes in favor of making them sexy without any thought to the actual character.

i mean if i owned a company and my consumers were all stupid fucks who throw money at me to make pixelated woman champions with huge thighs and tits, i would too. (yeah purchaser of underwhelming & nonsensical overpriced skins in a toxic game where nobody gives a fuck about you or what you’ve bought, I’m talking to you)

The best part about it? Most of the skins they’re releasing are identical to existing ones... or just flat out copies! (Pajama Guardian, Prestige Editions) Ez money from idiots, I personally applaud Riot for making money in the laziest way possible

Who are you trying to impress with that KDA Prestige Kai’sa? A community that’s filled mostly with man children who get butthurt over the slightest things? A game where more than likely, if you play enough, you get chat-restricted or even banned so that recycled skin they put barely any effort into goes to waste?

go fucking buy a gift for someone u actually care about or save up for something that isn’t a stressful FREE TO PLAY game.

(& just a heads up to those of you who aren’t well off to begin with - popular and wealthy streamers are able to use ANY skin for EVERY champ for free.)

The thing is , lore. Her new lore clearly states that she was raised among early demacians, hence the color change. And all the other changes are because ITS A FULL REWORK. I like to think of full reworks as them replacing champs to keep the roster the same size. Kayle was not seen as a popular champ, in casual or competitive. They saw that the old kayle was not a good enough design anymore. They saw that she was not as popular as other champs. That is the point of full reworks. Aatrox was the same way. He was the most memed champs as being bad in visual design and gameplay. Now look at him. He's different. New. Better. And yet we all complained about how he was different. We all like to think that we appreciated the old kayle, but her play rates say otherwise. It is very depressing to see how many people are calling this rework a failure when most wouldn't have played kayle in the next 6 months without this rework. Face it. Kayle needed this and she looks goddamned fucking amazing. It is a 100% upgrade. Now stop wining about a champ who is known for justice but has gotten little. And actually think about the overall wellness of a champ.

I'm really fuckin tired of reading all these bullshit comments over how she looks. There's nothing wrong with a sexy woman. I don't even know why this shit is even an issue. I love the new look a lot more than the old. They did a great job with her visuals. That is how she should have looked in the first place.

For me actually this is worse than Evelynn rework (the final result is good but it's like a new champ), the Galio rework... EVEN worse than Aatrox rework... lmao. What is happening at Riot?

To be fair about her wings, they do evolve and get bigger over the course of the game due to her new passive. So yeah they may not start out big, but those giant 6 seraph wings look amazing.

That aside I am disappointed from the lack of plate armor.

Have you seen RiotAugust's post? They are doing something about it. Her wings are a whole lot better than the previous ones.
