What was your most memorable moment in the river?

We all know the river.

It's the one neutral spot in League of Legends, the one spot where you feel remotely like you know as much as your opponent. Also known as the jungler's road, trail of tears, gank central, and Teemo's playground.

Do you have any moments that completely stand out of the blue when in the River, or that happened in the river? It can include baron/dragon fights.

I was playing as , and noticed my team was alone 4v5ing in the Dragon river, so I decided to throw my ult down there. All I heard 5 seconds later was QUADRA KILL

I popped everything to get down there and get my penta, but then our support decided to finish off the last one.

I was a slightly fed Viktor . I was pushing the inner tower, when I notice my team is getting into a fight in the river. I strut my way over there, to notice a foe trying to leave the fray. Q-Auto w/ Lich Bane dismisses them to browse the shop at their leasure.

I get into the river and turn my attention to the enemy Tristana. I fire my Laser at her at the same moment she came to the realization she did't want me invading her personal space. She fires her ultimate at me. If you haven't seen those abilities interact, let me tell you, it's a treat. Viktor's beam knows it should go from point A to point B, and that it should always connect to Viktor, no matter where he is. The result was my laser looked closer to a Lux ultimate than a normal laser. Tristana didn't think to move out of the path of the burn, and was similarly dismissed to browse the shop.

My teammates were chasing some poor fellow towards the tribrush. As fate would have it, Tristana had positioned me perfectly to assist my teammates in their endevors. I reached out over the cliff and fired another Q-Auto w/ Lich Bane to dismiss the last member of their team.

Had a SUPPORT fight over wards in several bushes.. item 3341 item 2045 Meanwhile, bot lane had their little trade of their own. They both died (Minions too stronk), and we both walked off with 4 wards wasted and at like 200hp.

The babysitting is real.

i have 2 moments

when i stole baron as lee sin by kicking the enemy syndra into the baron

when i stole baron as yasuo by flashing over the wall and using my e. No q and my e wasn't stacked.

Onced used scuttle bug as a meat shield to eat an entire Lucian ult. The whole dam thing. Imagine he was pissed. Ive also stolen baron with nothing but Singed gas. We were losing something terrible so they were going for an early attempt. Saw the jungler go down, so I figured "LEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOYYYYY JEEEEENNNKKKIIIIIIINNNNSSSSSS"

5 seconds later im dead, my team has baron and Im laughing too hard to play. We still lost but totally worth.

I was nami support, had almost no ap, saw the enemy team was taking drag. The only people there were me and my adc which I was in a call with. What do I do "yolo guys I'm gonna steal it" and I ult. I stole it. No one even noticed but my adc friend.

Playing jinx, i ulted dragon to get vision after i respawned on blue side. I ended up getting it and we didnt realize it for at least 10 seconds lol.

Does the baron pit count as part of the river?

If so, Azir ulting the entire enemy team into the baron pit and 1v5 pentakilling them because I was super fed that game. Plus baron's magic resist shreding and damage was helping.

Enemy was taking baron, no smite. As a ultra fed katarina, when baron had about 400 health left i shunpo'd in and in two seconds, PENTAKILL. (I also took baron)

I remember the whole enemy team was sitting in that small bush in the middle, and nobody bothered to sweeper it. I was Malphite .

Accidentally stealing Dragon: My support and I were behind it (No wards at Dragon...Sona wouldn't ward) and Nasus (he was the top laner) was hiding in the bottom tri bush (That was warded)...I panicked, shot my W incorrectly like a poophead, and somehow It said we slayed dragon. I was like..."WTF? And my friend who was mid lane saw and was laughing hysterically.

Twitch: A sad one was when I kept getting murdered by Twitch out of the blue in the river while putting shrooms. (This was back when I was still new to Teemo and I was told to lay shrooms in the river) His manic laugh stayed forever engraved into my brain. (Before his rework....I miss it even thought I hated it)

Actually just last night I was soloing Dragon as JarvanIV and the enemy jungler Rengar was nice enough to run up and early smite to leash drag for me and deliver his corpse to me at the same time. Drag + kill, thank you for the help Rengar that was very kind of you.

The whole while my brain can only think of Boromir saying "One does not simply try to smite steal dragon from a fed Jarvan and walk away."

River has actually been a lot of fun for me since the jungle rework. Scuttle vision OP.

I was playing Singed and saw MasterYi walk past a ward in a bush on Baron's side. He started to recall just outside of it I start summoner 12 just before. I start a poison trail and throw him into it then slow and throw him again just for Aatrox to steal my kill.

I Remembered watching NA EG play shortly after Pobelter joined and he was playing Ziggs mid and I saw him Ult and steal a Baron so I was playing a game with ZIggs in inspiration and saw the enemy team, because of vision, fighting Dragon (Before the update,) and I ulted down there and stole Dragon which was a pretty awesome feeling.

So, I was Poppy and challenged the enemy Blitzcrank to a race. But our respective teams kept getting in the way, trying to "play the game" and what not. Tryhards. Anyway, we just happened to both wander to bot lane at the same time towards late-game, and just like that BANG! we were off. We both sped up the river, Blitz ahead by a slim margin, but I was keeping pace. Then we cut through mid, right through the heart of a big team fight (yeesh, it's like they were out to win the game or something). Well, I got momentarily diverted, but I managed to get back on course. Unfortunately, I was out of mana, so Blitzcrank won a decisive victory in the race. It didn't help that I had to sell my Gotta Go Fast items for a real build (didn't want to TOTALLY screw my team over). In the end, it was a good race, and great fun.
