Because in order for teemo to be a significant threat in a teamfight, he has to be played at a far higher skill than a zed, yasuo, or lee, to be equally effective as them.

Also, even if a zed gets horribly counter picked, he can still safely q farm and wait until he can do his job.

If a teemo gets horribly counter picked, his best job is being a ward.

Maybe it's because the counter Item for Teemo is free item 3341 item 3364 And then there's the fact all teemo has is movement speed but it's not even that big an issue because once you've caught him he's not going to get away as much as hyper safe Zed, dashy Yasuo or ward hop junkie Lee. And then there is the Itemization.

Maybe its just me but I hate playing against any of them more than Teemo. Then again, I main him and know his weaknesses and how to screw him over, so maybe that's just it.

He's ranged against melee and bullies him early. If the Teemo isn't absolute shit (admittedly most of the people who play him are) he will be getting far more CS than Nasus and will have enough AP and penetration to cut through whatever Nasus builds.

Wither him whenever he blinds you, and wait for it to wear off. Or just use e on the rat and laugh as you gain the lane.

Depends on the skill level of the Teemo.

If he's one of those annoying turds that plays Teemo just to annoy you, they'll mana starve themselves by blinding you and do 0 damage once you get your Specters Cowl.

A Teemo that understands that poison is far more terrifying is a bigger pain to deal with.
