Update: ETA on Shipment 1.5 (Mid-December Shipment)

Riot Kades provided an update a few days ago on BoardGameGeek. I thought it would have been posted here too but it hasn't so I'm going to to help out those who aren't on BGG. The link has further discussion and replies from Riot Kades.

"Hey folks,

As we get closer to 'mid-December', we're starting to (understandably) see more questions pop-up regarding our Shipment #2 dates. So I wanted to drop by and give you the latest info that we have - but quick disclaimer - any part of this could be altered by things like a freak meteorite (or customs) that are ultimately out of our control. But we'd rather be transparent with you even with the possibility of being wrong than to keep you guys in the dark to avoid misinforming you - so this is the info we're working with.

North American Distribution Center:

Units are currently on track to be at our distribution center in NA by next Wednesday, December 14th. Orders leaving out of NA should start shipping immediately and we aim to process 2k orders a day, which means we will hopefully have all units out by the 21st. Since our warehouse is in Wisconsin, that means that we currently expect all those in the US to have their orders by Christmas morning. We've worked to resolve some of the delays with customs that affected Canadian orders in Shipment #1, but until we've seen it get resolved, we are not optimistic about the Canadian Orders being delivered by the 25th, though we're definitely trying to make this happen. And for orders outside of North America that are serviced by our NA Warehouse (like Oceania), we expect your order to have been shipped by mid-December, but that it will not arrive for another 1-2 weeks after shipping has taken place. So it is technically possible but highly unlikely for your order to arrive by Christmas.

European Distribution Center:

The EU orders should arrive at our German Distribution Center between December 16th-19th. The good news is, there are comparatively fewer orders being shipped from EU, so even though these orders are beginning to ship later, we expect for the processing to finish up around the same time. This will be close, but we're currently optimistic with getting all EU orders delivered By Christmas.

We'll keep you updated in this thread as we get more information, but hopefully this info helps with planning your holidays. With everything said and done, we are still on track to have all of our orders shipped by mid-December.
